Georgia Promise Scholarship (ESA)

STUDENT ELIGIBILITY

  • Students must reside in the state of Georgia and live within the attendance boundary of a Georgia public school that is rated in the bottom 25% of schools in the state
  • This program requires prior year enrollment in a Georgia public school, except for students entering kindergarten

ENROLLMENT: Program begins in the 2025-2026 school year

Qualified Education Expense Tax Credit (Tax Credit)

STUDENT ELIGIBILITY

  • Student needs to have enrolled in a Georgia public school for six weeks prior to receiving a scholarship

ENROLLMENT: 19,516 students (2022-2023)

Georgia Special Needs Scholarship Program (Voucher)

STUDENT ELIGIBILITY

  • Student needs to have enrolled in a Georgia K-12 school for one entire prior school year and have received special education services under an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or Section 504 plan

ENROLLMENT: 5,788 students (2022-2023)
