PROGRAM — Charter School

Why did you become an educator?

I was teaching at church and one of the ladies said you’d make a great teacher. I needed to support my children so I went back to school to teach. So grateful I did this 20 years ago and going strong. I love watching children learn new things; it is very rewarding.

What do you love about your school?

The staff, teachers, students, parents, and the community come together to help our students. To help them have learning experiences that are meaningful, enjoyable, and related to the learning that ALL students deserve.

Why is it important that lower income children can attend a school of choice?

Parents should have a voice in their students education. Parents should have a chance to select the school their children attend regardless of money. All students deserve the absolute best education their family can provide them.
