Announcing La Federación Americana para Los Niños
AFC continues to set the bar for innovative projects and ambitious outreach.
We are committed to doing whatever it takes to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive. We will not be satisfied until every family is able to send their children to the school that works for them.
To further this mission, we’re excited to announce the launch of La Federación Americana para Los Niños, a new project of AFC that focuses on outreach to Hispanic families. Valeria Gurr, our Director of External Affairs, heads up this project.

This initiative seeks to connect with previously unreached communities across the United States, sharing the message of school choice – as well as empowering a new generation of advocates to fight for their families. To further this ambitious goal, we are also rolling out new logos and branding for this project.
Also, make sure to check out our website, which includes a blog section in Spanish. Friends and allies are encouraged to send Valeria Spanish-language blog posts or editorials related to education, and we can publish them and promote them on our channels.
The needs are serious.
Hispanic students constitute more than 27% of all students from pre-k through 12th grade, and Hispanic families are the largest and fastest-growing U.S. demographic – yet achievement still lags.
The future prosperity and continued success of the United States is inextricably linked to the achievement of Hispanic and Latino students. And that success is linked to robust school choice options.
We’re doing what it takes to reach that goal.
You can follow La Federación on Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, and Tik Tok to keep up with our groundbreaking outreach as it happens.
School choice is for everyone, and we’re determined to reach every family who needs it.
