My name is Silvia and I go to Xavier College Preparatory. I am a sophomore and I like to play soccer. Although I don’t play soccer at Xavier, I love to play in my free time with my family.
My family and I chose to go to Xavier because I love how it’s an all-girls school and you can feel like your community will be there if you get hurt. At Xavier, you can depend on your community, teachers, and friends to help you. At Xavier, there aren’t any limitations on your potential.
I am thankful for the scholarship that I receive because I can continue to study and be with my friends who have helped me.

I would like to tell other parents and students who aren’t sure about applying to simply apply, your children may get the chance that maybe you never got. Receiving a scholarship has been a blessing because I am able to study and continue doing what I love with the people I love.
School Choice at Xavier means that I get to go to a school that will help me get through the hard stages of college and take me beyond. Xavier is a community that helps me become a better women and a school that wants to help anyone succeed whether you are poor or rich.
