I love school because it teaches me new things, and I love to learn. I was involved as a member of the school’s student council. I do all my work, and I pay attention in class.
I chose to attend Paul Habans Charter School because of the teachers and the activities offered to students. More specifically, drumline was offered and that allowed me to march in parades. Each time we have practice, I learn new things on the drums.
In my classes, I like the new things I learned. Recently I learned about the history of the United States. We learned about the slaves and how they were treated.
Is important that all students be able to attend any school they wish regardless of income because all students have different things they are interested in. It is not fair that students can’t pick the schools that fit them the best because they have income issues. Students are all different and need different things.
