I chose my school for several reasons. I wanted a school that was going to provide me with a great education to prepare me for college. In order to graduate, my school requires you to apply to all local colleges. They have so much support and the academic help is beyond what I expected. I would never have gotten this at a normal regular school. And I wish every other student could have the opportunity I have. I have tried to share this blessing and so many are scared to switch because they are not used to getting what I get here at my school.

I have known personally in my city many low-income parents. They raise a baby and they grow up to be a very important person in our society. Unfortunately, our public school system isn’t the best and is not structured to help our low-end families make it far in life. Some schools offer scholarships or even free tuition to those who choose to go to their school. Some of the most important people in today’s society wouldn’t be where they are without little breaks in life like school choice to better access educational opportunities.
