AFC Hires Greg Allum as Head of Growth

The American Federation for Children is excited to announce it has hired Greg Allum to serve as its new Head of Growth, focusing exclusively on scale-up and promotion of the AFC Scholarship Fund ahead of the 2027 Education Freedom Tax Credit launch.

Greg brings more than two decades of experience building and scaling growth engines at the intersection of brand, performance, and technology. He previously served as European Head of Social and Creative Strategy at Sony, where he led social and digital strategy across multiple international markets, and most recently served as Senior Vice President of Growth at Stand Together, where he built and led cross-functional growth teams spanning paid media, lifecycle marketing, analytics, content, and marketing technology.

In his new role, he will build the infrastructure, operating models, and growth systems to ensure the Education Freedom Tax Credit reaches scale quickly and sustainably. This includes launching and growing the national SGO’s supporter base, developing clear and trusted education around the tax credit, and establishing the data, analytics, and lifecycle capabilities needed to serve families nationwide.

Statement from Tommy Schultz, CEO, American Federation for Children:

“We are thrilled to welcome Greg to the team at this critical moment in the history of the education freedom movement. Now more than ever, we need the top talent and dedicated leaders who can take on the immense challenges and opportunity ahead and be successful on behalf of the families who need them to. Greg’s track record speaks for itself, and the team we are building reflects just how serious we are about ensuring the Education Freedom Tax Credit is successful and sustainable. Soon, families in every state will have school choice.”
