When I was in sixth grade, my mom decided to pull my family out of public schools. My sister was heavily bullied, the education wasn’t good at all, and the graduation rates were very low. During my last year at public school, I decided it wasn’t for me. I would rather be in a more secure environment, which I found at private schools. Ever since 2019 I’ve been in private school, now I’m in ninth grade, and really enjoying my current school.

“I feel like all parents/ kids should have the choice to go to the school they want instead of being somewhere they don’t like or is just not good for them.”

Parents and kids should have the choice to go to the school they want instead of being somewhere they don’t like or is just not good for them. If a kid is being bullied but they have no other choices because of financial difficulties or just the district they live in it’s completely not fair. Their right to a good education is being given up. We all have the right to a good education, and everyone should have access to one.
