PROGRAM — Charter School

Why did you become an educator?

I became an educator because I have always felt a yearning to teach children and I love seeing the lightbulb and smile across their face when they learn that they have accomplished something both great and small.

What do you love about your school?

I love the collaboration and teamwork of my school. The teaching staff is honestly second to none. I have been blessed with such passionate colleagues that have stood beside me on those weary days of teaching as well as the milestone moments of my life.

Why is it important that lower income children can attend schools of choice?

It is important that lower income children can attend schools of choice because we want to bridge the achievement gap. We want to expose them to opportunities that they may not be able to have if they were simply not allowed to choose their school. Our school is tailored made to meet the needs and wants of our students. We go above and beyond to meet the needs of the whole child of every student that walks into our classroom beyond just the academics.
