PROGRAM — Empowerment Scholarship Account

Felipe is a very clever and independent kid. He has a beautiful smile that everybody loves. He loves his school, his classes, and his many friends. We always wanted our son to receive a Catholic education that went along with our beliefs and principles, but private education seemed to be impossible.

Now, Felipe has more individualized attention and he gets support for his learning needs. This has greatly impacted his performance in school and in the academic field. He’s no longer struggling with classes, and feels much more confident in school. He loves going to school and that’s very important.

“Parents know their children better than anyone and they know if the kids feel comfortable in big or small classes, if they are being bullied, or if they need more attention.”

The ESA  scholarship has allowed us parents not only to have other options in the education of our son Felipe Sanchez Correa, but to access the kind of education that without this scholarship would be impossible to offer. Felipe is currently studying at OLPH (Our Lady of Perpetual Help) private school. We are very grateful, especially to Mrs. Gabriela Ascencio, who taught us about the scholarship and guided us through the process of accessing this opportunity.

More families should have the same privilege we have had in receiving an ESA. Every child is different and learns differently. We see that very clearly with Felipe. Parents know their children better than anyone and they know if the kids feel comfortable in big or small classes, if they are being bullied, or if they need more attention.

School choice has meant a lot for us as a family. We are very grateful, especially to Mrs. Gabriela Ascencio, who taught us about the scholarship and guided us through the process of accessing this opportunity. Felipe can now have the education we have always dreamt for him without worrying about the costs.
