My daughter struggled in other schools due to her being bored and we did not know why. Her grades were really good, but her behavior was not. It turns out she was done with all of her work before everyone and would start acting out. When we brought her to her charter school they recognized the issue and advanced her a grade! The charter school my daughter goes to is wonderful! There are small class sizes with teacher aids for every single classroom.
She is doing fantastic now. We no longer worry about behavioral issues and she still has great grades. She loves the individual attention and all the fun activities they do. My daughter gets to participate in activities such as gardening and a lot of art projects. She has flourished at this school! My younger daughter goes to the same school and is doing great as well. The teachers seem to really enjoy their profession; They take pride in teaching their students. I would recommend this school to anyone whose child seems to get lost in the crowd in public schools.
Also, the principal is so caring, really listens to your concerns, and never speaks down to you. He seems just like an average guy but he has a huge heart. He takes the time to know each and every student there by name and treats them all with kindness and equality!
I believe that all families should have the right to choose a school that fits their children’s needs. Not all kids require the same type of education. Some kids need individual attention more than others; Let’s face it, some schools are not equipped to handle the large magnitude of students they have and are so overwhelmed that it has to be difficult for them to give the students individual attention.
“Not all kids are alike, just like not all schools are alike. Parents know their children better than anyone and they know what type of school would work best for their children.”
Not all kids are alike, just like not all schools are alike. Parents know their children better than anyone and they know what type of school would work best for their children. Every parent should be able to choose where their kids attend regardless of family income. It is their future at stake. It’s important that we prepare them for their future according to the individual child’s needs. Our children need to be given what they require so they can be the best they can be.
Some students do just fine at regular public schools, but some need a more individually tailored setting to be able to live up to their potential. This is so important since each child is such an individual. Children are all different and come from all kinds of different backgrounds. Being able to choose the school that will work best for your child is so important for the children and for their future!
