My name is Andrew. I like to play sports like soccer and baseball. When I’m not doing sports I like to play video games. My parents put me in Basis Charter School because they saw that the school was very academically advanced and thought the school would help me.
My school has a lot of options for sports, electives, and courses. This school gives all of their students the freedom to choose the classes that they think they will need in order to pursue a career, or if they just want to take a class that they find interesting.

School choice changed my life because I’m not limited because of where I live or my financial stability. I believe more families should have the option of exercising school choice because for some states there are limits to which schools certain families can go to. Receiving a scholarship should be for kids who actually want to learn. School choice to me means being able to choose whatever school you want without having to worry about where you live and your financially stability.
