I currently attend St. Mary’s High School, a private Catholic school and it helps me with my religion and succeeding in my education. I attended a public high school in Kansas. That was a different experience than I’m experiencing now.
My public school experience was that the teachers weren’t as focused on our education. The overall organization wasn’t as caring or outgoing. It seemed like we were just getting by and not being encouraged to succeed. At St. Mary’s it is very one-on-one. Communication is strong and they want us to succeed in life and reach our full potential.
I feel all families should have opportunities to attend a school of their choice because everyone should have the ability to succeed in life. Everyone should have that, regardless of their economic reality.
