Jordan joined the AFC Development Team in February 2022. Prior to joining AFC, Jordan served as Chief Community Officer for Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia. Before that, she spent 15 years working in government and government relations in Washington, D.C. From 2018 through 2020, Jordan held the title of Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of Education, where she ran the Office of Legislation and Congressional Affairs and was a senior advisor to Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos. She also previously served as Government Relations Director for Virginia529, the nation’s largest College Savings Plan, Senate Legislative Affairs Manager for the National Federation of Independent Business, and Legislative Assistant to a U.S. Senator and Representative.

Jordan holds a bachelor’s degree in government from the University of Virginia and resides in her home city of Chesapeake, Virginia, with her husband, Andy, and their son, Crawford.
