Brenda Hondorp serves as the Executive Assistant for the American Federation for Children, a position she has held since 2009.   Previously, she served as Executive Assistant for the political action committee, All Children Matter (2003-2009).

Brenda began her career by interning for United States Senator, Spencer Abraham. After that, she was the grassroots director for the Kent County Republican Committee.

Brenda was recently re-elected to her third, 4-year term as a school board member for Byron Center Public Schools.

Brenda is a graduate of Davenport University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  She currently lives in Byron Center, Michigan, with her husband Joel, two children and cats, Tux and Boris.
