AFC Reacts to Federal School Choice Developments
Dallas, TX – The American Federation for Children reacts to action from the Senate parliamentarian on the federal school choice tax credit proposal within the “One, Big, Beautiful Bill.”
Statement from Tommy Schultz, CEO, American Federation for Children:
”The entirety of both federal spending and tax policy on education is designed to improve quality and increase options available to students. This provision is consistent with that precedent and aligns with 2/3rds of states that have similar policies. We will continue to work with Senators to ensure the parliamentarian’s misguided and highly political ruling doesn’t survive.”
