PROGRAM — Empowerment Scholarship Account

Aiyana is autistic and artistic. She likes drawing spooky pictures and likes building objects out of clay. She hopes to be a ghost hunter when she grows up.

I chose for my child to attend Lexington because they teach children like Aiyana to prepare them for the future. They have programs for job-like situations and interviews for real jobs one day. Second, I like that they have the children in a structure and routine every day. Third, they provide jobs in the school to prepare children and transportation is provided. Some kids may not have enough for lunch and the school will provide a snack to feed them. I often recommend Lexington for children with autism.

The difference school choice has made for my child and family is I can tell Aiyana is learning better. The teaching skills the teachers at Lexington have made her education better. I notice Aiyana coming home with more and more educational interests.

“. I think more families that have children like Aiyana should have the same privilege to be able to enroll their child in a school they choose.”

I believe more families should have the same privilege I’ve had in exercising school choice. I think more families that have children like Aiyana should have the same privilege to be able to enroll their child in a school they choose. That way they are able to pick the school with the best benefits for their children. The can choose the school that will bring the best out of their child.

To me, school choice means being able to freely pick what school will best fit my child’s needs. It means researching and being able to find the school that will allow a child to be themselves and motivate them to be someone one day as well as get prepared for the future. Your school of choice is the best choice.
