Nevaeh is very intelligent. She loves her family. She enjoys making crafts and is awesome at making something out of nothing. She is strong-willed and when she puts her mind to something she follows through.
I chose for my child to attend her school because it’s less populated and has more one-on-one attention. The school focuses on faith-based education and that is very important to me. The children are able to focus more on their work. Also, for their school plays, all students are able to participate and enjoy themselves. They offer sign language which my children enjoy very much. It is an incredible school even with all the things they face. They are learning good values for a lifetime, and I admire the staff with their strong sense of learning and teaching.
School choice has made a difference for my family because I’m able to be at peace knowing they’re doing better than they ever have at any other school. It’s been a blessing observe the level of detail and organization they have learned.

I absolutely believe more families should have the same privilege I’ve had in exercising school choice. I believe if most parents knew about the scholarships and the smaller more-focused schools they would see the importance of their child’s education. Honestly, there is so much less stress and drama for parents and still enough opportunities for students to learn social skills. The message I would like to leave for others who hear my story is to please share more stories. I would love to see more families utilizing education freedom.
School choice means freedom to learn about God in school. It also means learning the different cultures and diversity of other students and their families. Also, it means having the choice in case something extreme, like COVID-19, happens again. It means we are able to help our children make their goals – oh and their “pick” in field trips are also a huge plus.
