PROGRAM — Louisiana Scholarship Program

From Nevaeh’s mom, Likia:

I am Likia Jenkins, the mother of Nevaeh Jenkins who received a scholarship from the Louisiana Scholarship Program to attend Family Worship Christian Academy I feel it is important for a parent to choose their child’s school because as a parent you are actively involved and place your child in a qualified and appropriate environment.

Having a choice allows me to partner with the best educators and educational team that will prepare my child for a future of academic success. The school I selected for my child aligns with my faith and core values. My child not only receives innovative and engaging lessons but social and life skills that will allow her to be a productive adult.

By attending Family Worship Christian Academy, Nevaeh has thrived social and academically. She was once a shy student with little confidence. Being in a Christian environment has provided her with biblical principles and lasting friendships. Nevaeh has excelled academically. She has also had access to additional technology and enrichment support.

From Nevaeh:

My name is Nevaeh. I am eight years old and am in the third grade. I attend Family Worship Christian Academy. I have attended this school with a scholarship from the Louisiana Scholarship Program for three years.

I like going to my school because my teachers are fun. I enjoy writing and multiplication. One of my favorite subjects is art. The teacher uses technology to teach us how to drawI like drawing on the computer

My favorite teacher teaches science and social studies. At school, our teachers allow us to work together in groups and we learn a lot. I have made many friends. I always feel safe at my school.
