When we moved to Arizona, we found the perfect home. But the school my kindergartner was zoned for was a D/F rated school. Because of the school’s low rating, we planned to homeschool. We had no idea about ESAs (Education Savings Accounts). We didn’t discover them until Google brought us to the ESA website a few months into our homeschool journey.
Once our application was approved my son benefited from the ESA in so many ways. My family incorporates a lot of adventures and time in nature into our curriculum. We use our ESA to purchase curriculum, supplement our curriculum with enrichment and additional learning experiences, provide him with music education, and other classes that allow him to develop his strengths.
