Thanks to the South Carolina’s Education Scholarship Trust Fund Program, my son, Aaron Campos Lozada, is able to attend Hilton Head Christian Academy, and this has made a tremendous difference in our lives. We chose this school because we wanted him to grow not only academically but also spiritually.
What he has learned at school has touched our entire family. His faith has reached our hearts, and he has taught us that prayer and love for God go hand in hand. It is truly a blessing that my son receives this scholarship.
He is a child with excellent grades and is an outstanding athlete. Every day he wakes up excited and full of love to attend his school. Before, when he attended a public school, he would leave with a sad expression. Now he goes to school happy, full of faith and love.
Without this scholarship, we would not be able to afford this education. That is why I thank God every morning for giving us this opportunity through the ESTF program. It has truly changed our lives.
All families, regardless of income, should be able to choose the right school for their child because every child deserves the opportunity to succeed in an environment where they feel safe, supported, and inspired. Each child has unique needs, talents, and learning styles, and not every school is the right fit for every student. When families have the freedom to choose, they can select a school that aligns with their values, academic goals, and their child’s personal growth.
School choice also creates equal opportunity. A family’s financial situation should not limit a child’s access to quality education. Education plays a powerful role in shaping a child’s future, and giving parents the ability to choose helps ensure their children receive the best possible foundation for success in life.
