A Texas native with over 25 years of experience in state and national policy, Zack Dawes has served as National Director of Development for the American Federation for Children and AFC Growth Fund since from 2010 to 2023. His experience includes operating a public affairs consulting firm and providing business and governmental affairs consulting services to related clients including Pearson OBL, a national leader in K – 12 virtual education.

Zack is a graduate of Baylor University. He and his wife, Jana, have two sons and a daughter and reside in Georgetown, TX.
