Sam serves as Director of Paid Advocacy at the American Federation for Children, where he leads efforts to advance education-focused initiatives through strategic engagement with policymakers, stakeholders, and advocates nationwide. In this role, he supports grassroots and legislative programs and translates policy priorities into effective action at the state and national levels.

Prior to joining the American Federation for Children, Sam held roles in political and organizational leadership, including overseeing large-scale fundraising operations, coordinating high-profile events, and managing teams supporting elected officials and advocacy efforts nationwide. He has directed budgets, exceeded organizational goals, and contributed to record-setting cycles through disciplined strategy and execution.

Sam earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Psychology from Elon University and is recognized for his analytical approach, collaborative leadership style, and ability to drive results in fast-paced environments.
