Ryan Cantrell serves as the National Director of Government Affairs. He was previously AFC’s Director of State Teams and Elections where he helped oversee AFC’s state activities and electoral efforts.
Ryan’s background includes serving on numerous political campaigns at the state and congressional level in Alabama, including stints in the Alabama Republican Party, and work within the Alabama State Legislature for Former Senate President Pro Tem Del Marsh. He previously served as the Alabama State Director and Regional Advocacy Director for AFC.
He received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 2008 from Faulkner University, where he was an All-Conference, All-Region golfer and President of the Student Government Association. He is a die-hard college sports fan (War Eagle!), golfer and avid book reader. He currently resides in Montgomery, Alabama with his wife and four children.
