Jade is the Director of Communications for the American Federation for Children. She brings a decade of experience in state political communications and stakeholder engagement, most recently serving as Tennessee Governor Bill Lee’s Director of External Affairs. Previously, Jade served as Deputy Communications Director and Press Secretary in the Governor’s Office, where she managed communications across the executive branch and served as a key spokesperson advancing the administration’s priorities and legislative initiatives, including leading communications efforts for the successful passage and expansion of Tennessee’s Education Freedom Act.
Jade graduated from Belmont University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a minor in Journalism. Originally from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, she now resides in Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband and daughter.
