Emily Elfelt is the Executive Communications Associate for the American Federation for Children. Prior to joining AFC, she worked in development communications at Cathedral High School in New York City and supported academic and character development programs for middle school students through the Metro Achievement Center in Chicago. Her passion for expanding educational opportunities for low-income families informs her work advancing AFC’s mission.
Emily earned a bachelor’s degree in English, with a minor in German Language, from the University of Dallas. She grew up in Brookfield, Wisconsin, and currently lives in Dallas, Texas.
