AFC Welcomes Charlie Ruger as Chief Development Officer

The American Federation for Children is pleased to welcome Charlie Ruger as AFC’s Chief Development Officer. Previously Senior Vice President, Development, at Stand Together, and Vice President of Philanthropy at the Charles Koch Foundation, Charlie brings a wealth of experience and deep strategic knowledge well-suited to continue scaling up AFC’s fundraising operation.

Charlie Ruger is joining AFC as Chief Development Officer. A native of Detroit, MI, Charlie brings over 15 years of philanthropic, private-sector, and nonprofit development experience to AFC. In his new role, Charlie will oversee all aspects of AFC’s development operation and work closely across teams to support and expand our work.
