AFC Stands Behind Ballot Petition to Save Arizona School Choice from Union Attacks
The American Federation for Children is proud to announce it is standing with Fortify AZ to support the filing of the Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Accounts Reform and Accountability Act – a ballot initiative aimed at preserving Arizona’s ESA program for the 100,000-plus students who use it. Amid the backdrop of a bad-faith, union-backed ballot petition that would gut the program, this measure responds to clear voter demands for a transparent, well-run program that can last for generations.

Staying on the sidelines is not an option as one of America’s oldest school choice programs faces an existential threat – we are taking the fight to the unions’ turf and, more importantly, to the voters who are clearly on our side. We will do what it takes to bring this critical measure to the ballot.”
