PROGRAM — Milwaukee Choice Program

I switched from public to private school when I was in third grade. Currently I attend a private school. I like it because teachers understand us and it’s different than my old school. The teachers expect better from us and want the best for us.

We have smaller classes at my school and I am learning a lot. Reading is my favorite subject. I like to research and I like to write.

My mom wanted me to go to my current school. She thought private school would be better for me. She thought I could get more help and learn more.

Families should have choices about what school they attend. The public school might not be the best choice for every child. Some kids like math and science more, or have different experiences, and a different school might be better for them.
