My parents struggled financially for as long as I can remember. They always worked together to keep me in school. They would remind me that my education is the one thing that someone can NEVER take away from me.
With the help from Children’s Scholarship Fund, I was able to attend Saint Raymond’s High School for Boys and graduate in the top 20% of my class. My scholarship, parents and my friends that I’ve made in this school have given me the motivation to work hard for myself and to reach of the stars.
My parents had help as well. They knew my capacity to do well in school, but they wanted me to go to a private school where the curriculum was much more advanced. Thanks to Children’s Scholarship Fund, I was able to achieve that goal and attend the college of my dreams, Mount St. Mary’s University.
