Cuando recién llegué a vivir a Nevada escuché hablar para bien sobre las escuelas Magnet, así que decidí registrar a una de mis hijas en una de estas escuelas.

Esta escuela tiene un excelente equipo de trabajo, bonitas instalaciones, buena disciplina, motivan bastante a los alumnos a leer, y muchas cosas más.
Además de esto la escuela cuenta con un programa en dónde los niños que llevan buenos grados pueden participar en ella, a mi hija en lo personal le sirvió mucho colaborar ahí, ya que aprendió a hablar en público y perdió ese miedo e inseguridad que tenía. Ahora ella es egresada de esta escuela, y sin dudarlo registré a mi otra hija más pequeña a iniciar su proceso académico en la misma escuela.
Mi hijo mayor está cursando Basic High school que es escuela Magnet también y estamos contentos con los programas que la escuela ofrece a los estudiantes. Sin duda alguna estas escuelas ayudan bastante a los estudiantes a prepararse para un mejor futuro.
En mi opinión los ingresos de una familia no deberían limitar las opciones escolares que reciben los niños. Los estudiantes deberían tener acceso a pertenecer a la escuela de su preferencia, ya que todos los niños deberían tener derecho a la misma educación académica, no unos más que otros por su situación económica.
Me gustan la idea dar opciones escolares ya que hay escuelas que se enfocan más en artes, robótica, música etc. y hay estudiantes que desde muy pequeños tienen bien fijas y plantadas sus metas y sueños, pero quizá no pueden pertenecer a estas escuelas porque puede ser más costosas.
