As Louisiana Grassroots Coordinator, Alkinee Jackson leads the Louisiana Federation for Children’s community outreach activities in the Baton Rouge area. She promotes awareness of educational choice options with parents, students, schools and other stakeholders.
Alkinee recognizes the crucial role quality educational opportunities can have in transforming the lives of children and families. She comes to LFC from the Black Alliance for Educational Options where she directed family and community outreach activities in Louisiana.
Alkinee was also founding board member of Baton Rouge Urban Home Schoolers and Louisiana president of National Black Home Educators.
