New Mexico: Diane Denish's Voucher Attacks Backfiring.

Vouchers. Vouchers. Vouchers.

That’s pretty much the only word coming out of Democratic gubernatorial candidate Diane Denish’s mouth these days as she attacks her opponent, Susana Martinez, for early primary campaign statements in support of school voucher programs.

But Republicans are now calling Denish a hypocrite on the voucher issue, pointing out that Denish sat on the board of a foundation that gave charitable donations to nonprofits working toward establishing voucher programs.

For 10 years, Denish was a board member of the Daniels Fund, which was founded by her conservative uncle, cable television pioneer Bill Daniels.
