Hispanic Heritage Month – Arizona educational choice program has helped Nydia reach her goals

Nydia Salazaar and her mother immigrated to the United States from Peru and focused on fulfilling their American Dream.
Nydia always set her sights on attending a local private school in their area known for its academic excellence. Thanks to Arizona’s Corporate Tuition Tax Credit program, Nydia is able to attend her dream school and is one step closer to accomplishing her goal to attend medical school and become a cardiologist.
There are hundreds of thousands of success stories just like Nydia’s about how educational choice programs have transformed the lives of students and their families.
Nydia even spoke at AFC’s annual Summit to share her story and advocate for educational choice programs. AFC is excited to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and share stories, facts and information on the impact of educational choice on Hispanic Americans and children across the country.
