American Federation For Children Praises Senate Passage of Florida SB48/HB7045
The American Federation for Children congratulates Senator Manny Diaz, Jr, and the Florida Senate on passage of SB48/HB7045 with a vote of 25 to 14 which will now go to Governor Ron DeSantis for his signature.
This landmark legislation will vastly expand Florida’s need-based and special needs scholarships which will enable thousands of children to have access to more educational options.
Florida leads the nation in the number of families accessing choice programs and this bill assures families desperately awaiting a scholarship will have the opportunity in future years to have the very best educational options for their children.
