Alberto Carvalho, Superintendent of Miami-Dade County Public Schools, to Speak at 2019 National Policy Summit

Today the American Federation for Children announced that Alberto Carvalho will address attendees at the 2019 National Policy Summit in Chicago.
As Superintendent of Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Carvalho has overseen one of the nation’s largest school districts since 2008. Under his leadership Miami-Dade has become one of the highest performing urban districts in the nation. Read Superintendent Carvalho’s full bio here.
