24 Days of Giving Thanks – Day 6

AFC’s 24 Days of Giving Thanks campaign continues – highlighting students and school choice leaders for their hard work advancing the cause throughout the year. Day 6 recognizes school president and school choice advocate Beth Blaufuss.
Blaufuss is the president of D.C.’s successful Archbishop Carroll High School, which accepts students who participate in the D.C. Opportunity Scholarship Program. The school is known for its academic rigor and focus on service in the community.
She also is a strong advocate for school choice – testifying last year at a Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs hearing about the importance of school choice in D.C. and reauthorizing the D.C. OSP as well as writing an op-ed in support of school choice in her home state of Tennessee earlier this year.
Watch Blaufuss discuss the importance of school choice especially in our nation’s capital.

We’re thankful for great school leaders like Beth Blaufuss. Help AFC in our work to give every student access to a quality education and school choice. Donate today to help students in D.C. and across the country.
