24 Days of Giving Thanks – Day 2

It’s day 2 of AFC’s 24 Days of Giving Thanks campaign. Leading up to Thanksgiving, AFC will be sharing school choice success stories from across the country and what we are thankful for this year – school choice and the people who are helping children attend a great school across the country.
Today we’re highlighting Champion for Choice Jalen Rose. Rose has worked with AFC to help spread the message of school choice on a broad level, participating in AFC’s national PSAs and speaking out in support for school choice across the country. Most recently, he spoke at AFC’s school choice reception at the Democratic National Convention:

Rose opened his own charter school, the Jalen Rose Leadership Academy, in his hometown to serve students in Detroit in 2011. The school currently serves 400 students in 9th-12th grade and has an innovative model that supports students throughout high school and into college to help ensure every child’s success.

AFC is thankful for great school school choice advocates like Jalen Rose! Join AFC in the effort to help create even more support for school choice nationwide. Every dollar you donate goes towards helping children from low-income families access a quality school and a pathway to success.

We look forward to continuing to share with you what AFC is thankful for this year!
