24 Days of Giving Thanks – Day 15

AFC’s 24 Days of Giving Thanks continues as we recognize school choice students for their accomplishments and success as well as the individuals who are helping to promote school choice nationwide.
Today, we recognize school choice champion Sen. John McCain. Earlier this year, Sen. McCain introduced the Native American Education Opportunity (NAEO), legislation to create an innovative education savings account program on tribal lands. NAEO addresses the issues in Bureau of Indian Education Schools, which are known for being poor performing schools, and gives students the opportunity to immediately attend a quality school and set themselves up for success.
