01.29.2015 AFC Daily News Clips – morning edition

Good morning:

Yesterday morning, nearly 300 students, parents and bipartisan members of congress came out to celebrate National School Choice Week on Capitol Hill. Meanwhile in Yellowhammer State, the Alabama Federation for Children, Black Alliance for Educational Options and other coalition members rallied in the state capitol.
I’m headed out to Arizona, where school choice will be celebrated today at the capitol building, featuring Lisa Leslie and Gov. Doug Ducey. And, tomorrow, the American Federation for Children and our Champions for Choice, Lisa Leslie and Marcellus Wiley, will visit Super Bowl radio row to talk about the importance of empowering parents by expanding access to quality educational options (don’t worry Andrew Campanella, I have my yellow scarf in tow).
