01.13.2015 AFC Daily News Clips – morning edition

Good morning:

It’s January and on the eve of many legislative sessions many governor’s across the country are describing their vision to strengthen education. Yesterday, Gov. Mary Fallin (OK) called education the most important part of her legislative agenda, and Gov. Doug Ducey (AZ), urged lawmakers to recognize that a “one size fits all” education system fails far too many children, adding that a child’s education should not be determined by the neighborhood in which a child’s family can afford to live.
Have a great day,
